About the product: Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Rock Town Distillery, the first legal distillery in Arkansas since Prohibition. Founder Phil Brandon started the distillery in 2010 to create world-class spirits from Arkansas grain and to celebrate the farmers who grow it.
This straight bourbon whiskey, our first from Rock Town and from Arkansas, was made from 82% Arkansas-grown corn, 9% Arkansas-grown wheat, and 9% malted barley. Aged for 4 years in a 53-gallon barrel in the Arkansas heat, it has notes of vanilla, graham cracker, and lemon custard on the nose. The warm, welcoming palate has hints of fresh sweet corn, lemon chess pie, nutmeg, and clove.
