On the nose, sweet corn rises first and is then layered neatly with dark cherry, leather gloves, and just a faint whisper of vanilla, before it turns into a tiny scream of cinnamon and clove. The palate is rich and bold with an earthy punch; imagine warm grits dusted in black pepper with notes of dark cocoa and dried fruit tied together with a velvet bow. It rested for five years in new American white oak barrels before being unleashed for your enjoyment.
