Tasting Notes: The nose is quite the treat. While rich and inviting, on one side it’s light and candied and fragrant with a plethora of red fruits (cherry, strawberry, tart raspberry), and on the other side deep, nuanced, and sophisticated with toasted oak, toffee, and leather notes.
The palate is full and engulfing for the proof - chewy and creamy toasted marshmallow, burnt citrus peel, and lots of caramel. If you want to sit and not think about this one it will give you a rich sip, but there’s equal complexity for one who may want to explore.
The finish is rich yet still juicy, giving sweet oak, milk chocolate and leather while also giving melon and peach milk tea.
