Regular price $149.99 Sale

Proof: 106.25 Proof (53.125% ABV)

Batch Size: 9 unique batches, each consisting of three selected barrels

Distilled, Aged & Bottled: In Kentucky

Tasting Notes: Appearance: Deep amber hue with radiant golden highlights. In the glass, it showcases thick, slow-moving legs, indicative of its rich and full-bodied nature.

Nose: A harmonious bouquet of rye spice and dried fruit, complemented by hints of honeysuckle and mint. Complex notes of dark chocolate and brown sugar emerge, with pronounced dried fruit notes of apricots and figs blending with delicate floral undertones and a subtle hint of charred oak.

Palate: An unexpectedly sweet profile for a rye whiskey, with traditional spice notes yielding to a harmonious medley of dark mint chocolate and toffee. Mid-palate, the spice notes return, enhanced by a touch of citrus zest, adding depth and complexity.

Finish: A crescendo of herbal and sweet notes, perfectly balanced and warming. At 106.25 proof, it delivers a long, bright, and viscous finish, leaving a lasting impression of quality and craftsmanship.

Seelbach's Notes: The nose is beautifully perfumed and fragrant. Brown Sugar, fresh apple pie, layered baking spices and orange peel, and lots of dried fruits underneath it all with a soft florality, thin veil of dark chocolate, and lingering charred oak.

The palate is sweet forward, but not forgetting it’s roots. While theres a buttery toffee note that greets you, it isn’t without dark chocolate and warming oak along with ginger, allspice, and black peppercorn continuing on.

The finish is warming and lively, yet chewy at its 106 proof. It trails long and toasty, but still has saturating leather, charred oak, and red fruit notes dance on the sides of the tongue. The oak in the long linger is fantastic, so don't be afraid to take your time between sips.
