DG Tasting Notes: Gold legs for days. Crème brûlée & mixed dried fruit on the nose. Palette matches the nose supported by vanilla, caramel and sweet tannin. Finish hangs and gives way to fruity spicy lingering bourbon notes with suggestions of cream and cacao on the breath.

Seelbach's Tasting Notes: The aromas jump from the glass with baked spice cake, warm wood tones, buttered pie crust, orange marmalade, and sweet clove. All the suspects you may expect from a French oak, finished bourbon without the overwhelming fake maple bashing you over the head.

The palate continues with the buttered crust notes but adds in deeper notes of dark fruit and cherry pie filling, vanilla creaminess, and not to mention the sweet charred oak tones lingering beyond the fruit notes.

The finish trails long and semi dry on the palate, bringing in cacao and balanced baking spice warmth.
