Finish: This 8-barrel blend was aged for 10 years in once used bourbon barrels and finished in freshly dumped chocolate bitters barrels for 6 months.

Tasting Notes: This pour is a chocolate candy bar next to a glass of Ovaltine: smells like a mixture of sweet milk chocolate, somewhat citrusy dutched cacao powder, and dry chocolate drink powder featuring substantial swirls of vanilla, cream, honey, and nougat. The chocolate notes sit on a base of traditional rye baking spices. The palate is overwhelmingly chocolatey; mainly characteristics of dutched cacao powder and cream that carry well into the velvety long-lasting cacao and caramel finish. Take a bite.
