Dad's Hat Bottled In Bond Straight Rye Whiskey

Tasting Notes: We made this whiskey with rye from Lancaster County (now we only use a local Bucks County farm) and it has a unique flavor profile – the most prominent characteristic is the cherry pepper nose.  This hot pepper note blends into cocoa, like spicy hot chocolate.  The spicy theme continues on the palate with typical rye flavors like black pepper and cinnamon.  The finish is warm wood and herbaceous.
