Tasting Notes: The nose smells like gumballs if they were coated in caramel sauce. It’s rich, it’s oaky, but still layered with deep berry notes, only continuing to grow more plump the longer it rests in the glass.

Very creamy on the palate, with a layered sweetness and the perfect amount of baking spices to cut through. Syrupy berries, almost like simmering fruit on the stovetop or freshly baked fruit pie, mingle with dashes of nutmeg, ginger, and allspice, complemented by toasty pie crust and smoked vanilla syrup.

The finish is deep and trailing, growing a touch smokier as the spices build as well, giving a bit of that well-seasoned Kelvin barrel profile that we love. This one continues to stay rich and heavy all the way through the long finish.
