Mash bill: 51% Rye | 45% Corn | 4% Malted Barley
Distillation: MGP in Indiana - Aged, blended and bottled in Cambridge, Wisconsin
Finish: This 8-barrel blend was aged 10.5 years in once used bourbon barrels and finished for 6 months in French Limousin oak.
Tasting Notes: The nose has a beautiful woodsy tone mixed with thick, creamy caramel syrup, underlying dark berries, fig jam, soft pepperiness, hard root beer candies, torched orange peel, and candied pecans.
The palate is rich and deep, moving from custardy sweetness to well-seasoned oak to mixed spices like clove, ginger, and black pepper.
There’s a juicy, candied red-fruit and citrus quality that emerges with repeated sips, leading into a buttery, cola-like finish, where lovely toasted oak provides the perfect complement.
