Speyside Cooperage; This is from the first batch LISV mash bill distilled and the first single barrel from that mash bill.

Tasting Notes: Heavy and thick on the nose, with dense maple sugar and snickerdoodle cookie dough lingering alongside fresh, buttery blackberry cobbler and sweet oak. It’s very aromatic, with lots to unpack.

The palate is equally rich and decadent and, given the amount of rye present, surprisingly sweet-forward. There’s a beautiful undertone of fruit the whole way through, like flat cherry cola, but the focus remains on big caramel sugars, a touch of leather, and sweet antique oak.

The finish remains sweet with vanilla cream and caramel, but the spices begin to come through more: spiced cola concentrate, sweet oak, and chocolate cream pie.
