Continuing to honor of America’s 250th anniversary, WhistlePig is releasing two limited-edition patriotic bottles built around the red, white, and blue. One leans into the brand’s iconic PiggyBank format with a 10-year rye dressed in silver, red, and blue. The other takes WhistlePig into new territory with a wheat whiskey made for the warmer months.

WhistlePig Declaration Wheat Whiskey is a new release that pushes the brand into a different American whiskey grain. WhistlePig helped redefine ultra-premium rye, then pushed into ultra-premium bourbon. With Declaration, they’re planting their flag in wheat. It leans into wheat's naturally softer, more approachable character. A second finish in wave stave barrels adds a toasted flavor gradient and complexity. Double American oak aged and bottled at 86 proof, it’s exactly what summer calls for.

The nose is vanilla, orange crème, toasted honey wheat bread.

The palate is sweet cinnamon bread, candied citrus, and caramelized sugar.

Medium length finish with soft notes of charred oak.

Next is the PiggyBank Limited Edition 10-Year Rye. The original PiggyBank has always been one of WhistlePig’s most recognizable releases, and this version brings it back with a collectible twist. A decade-aged straight rye that made WhistlePig impossible to ignore in the first place: 10 years of patience, 110 proof of conviction, and not a drop of compromise.

The nose is toasted cinnamon, baked vanilla, slight cedar.

The palate brings bright black pepper giving way to notes of nutmeg, subtle hint of lemon zest and leather.

Medium length finish, leaving a light tannin note that gently fades from the palate.
