Penelope’s Cooper Series is all about the art of cask finishing, where straight whiskey meets extraordinary barrels sourced from around the world.

Riviera takes that idea in a brighter, more summery direction. This release blends 8-year American Light Whiskey and Straight Bourbon before finishing the whiskey in rosé wine casks, bringing a sweet, floral, fruit-forward profile to the latest Cooper Series release.

Bottled at 94 proof, Riviera combines Penelope’s familiar 74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye, and 3% malted barley mash bill with the lighter character of American Light Whiskey and a rosé finish that adds layers of ripe berry, vanilla, and floral sweetness.

The nose opens with candied fruit and floral herbal notes. The palate follows with sweet vanilla, angel food cake, and strawberry before finishing with rich leather, ripe berry, and a touch of spice.
