Our Second Angel's Envy Single Barrel Is Finally In!

We released our first ever Angel's Envy barrel in February. We received an incredible response followed by a quick sellout. We knew we had to get another one of these barrels in before the end of 2025. I've mentioned before, but I’ve loved this brand since 2013. That’s when their first cask strength version won “Best Spirit in the World” by Spirit Journal. Now, most people know about them. Coming off their Bottled-in-Bond release last year and a steady stream of annual cask strength releases as well as unique limited finishes, we are excited to have a barrel of our own. The nose starts with a sweet, earthy funk that transitions into dense lemon bundt cake, singed cookie bottoms, and toasted almond husk.

The palate is in perfect synchronicity with the nose, opening with an initial wave of sweet earthiness and saturated oak. The mid-palate turns slightly smoky with delicate hints of tobacco leaf, raw cacao, and tart cherry skins.

The finish trails with earthy notes dancing around overripe fruit and fresh tea leaves.
