The response to Bourbon de Luxe was about how we expected... so why not run it back with a vintage release?
 
Bourbon de Luxe Vintage is a small batch blend of 5 barrels of 16-year 6-month old Kentucky straight bourbon. This blend is from the infamous mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley distilled in Frankfort, KY. It's bottled at cask strength, without chill filtration, and coming in at 121.3 proof. This release is limited to 376 bottles and exclusively here at Seelbach's. 

Grenadine cherry syrup, vanilla bean ice cream and sweet oak. The delicate fruit and oak notes reverberate with clove and white pepper. Juicy pear and toasted coconut turn to maduro tobacco. Cohesive and delicious.

As independent bottlers, Rolling Fork Spirits has revived this 113-year-old bourbon brand that traces its roots back to the early 1900s. The brand survived Prohibition after being acquired by the R.E. Wathen Co. in 1926, and became part of the American Medicinal Spirits Co. portfolio in 1927. The return of Bourbon de Luxe in 2024 marks the revival of this historic brand, which follows the motto created by the Wathen family in 1788: No Finer Spirits Can Be Made.
 
“Bourbon de Luxe is one of a few brands that my family produced that Jordan and I had admired for a long time,” said Rolling Fork Spirits Co-Founder Turner Wathen. “We have always wanted to do a bourbon, but knew we would not act on a brand revival unless we were able to source very high-quality Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Once we secured the trademark and the bourbon, we were off to the races.”
