Lost Lantern has always done something we respect at Seelbach’s. They seek out small, unique distilleries across the country and give those producers a bigger stage. Today's release may be the biggest stage yet.

Introducing Lost Lantern's United States of Bourbon.

This first-of-its-kind release brings together straight bourbon whiskeys from all 50 states, blended into one bottle to show just how far American craft whiskey has come. For this project, Lost Lantern worked with distilleries they have personally visited across the country to create a blend that proves great bourbon is not limited to one region, one style, or one tradition. It comes from everywhere.

Bourbon may have deep roots in Kentucky, but the story of American whiskey has grown far beyond that. From New Riff in Kentucky and Leiper’s Fork in Tennessee to Frey Ranch in Nevada, Balcones in Texas, Starlight in Indiana, Kings County in New York, Woodinville in Washington, Ko‘olau in Hawai‘i, Denali Spirits in Alaska, and dozens more, United States of Bourbon is exactly what the name promises.

Fifty states. Fifty distilleries. One uncompromising vision.

Lost Lantern United States of Bourbon 100 Proof

The flagship release is bottled at 100 proof and brings together straight bourbon whiskeys aged 2 to 10 years from all 50 states. The profile is warm, balanced, and deep, with vanilla and wood spice on the nose, hints of nutmeg and clove, then chocolate, raspberry, and orange zest on the palate.

Lost Lantern United States of Bourbon Cask Strength

For those who want the bigger version of the same idea, the Cask Strength edition takes the 50-state blend and bottles it at 122.9 proof. This one leans into rich wood spice and vanilla on the nose, followed by oak, spice, and fruit on the palate, with notes of black raspberry, dark chocolate, and leather.

Lost Lantern United States of Bourbon 1776 Special Edition

The 1776 Special Edition is the most limited of the lineup. Created for the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, this bottle takes a more focused historical approach. Instead of all 50 states, it is made from straight bourbon whiskeys from the first 13 states, the former colonies that united in 1776 to declare independence.

Only 1,776 bottles were produced, and this release will not be repeated.

The profile is warm, complex, and spicy, with orange zest, dark chocolate, and walnut on the nose. The palate brings fruit and spice, adding fresh-baked bread and leather before moving into a long, spicy finish.

Lost Lantern has always been about shining a light on independent American whiskey. This release does that on the biggest scale yet. It is a one-of-a-kind project, and it is one of the clearest examples of what Lost Lantern does best.
