The Summer of Bourbon has a simple message: Great bourbon is made all across the United States, from the deserts of Nevada to the plains of Texas… from Ohio’s snowbelt to the mountains of Colorado… and, of course, from Kentucky.
As an independent bottler of American whiskey, Lost Lantern routinely works with all styles of American whiskey, including bourbon. But they have never before devoted such a large release entirely to one single style of whiskey.
But bourbon sort of demands it. The bourbon world has transformed, and they want to showcase the incredible quality, coming from all across the country, of America’s iconic spirit.
This is the first release that encompasses all three of their different types of whiskies: the Blend Series (blends of whiskies from multiple distilleries), the Single Distillery Series (blends of multiple casks from a single distillery that showcase a unique side of that distillery) and the Single Cask Series (whiskies from a single barrel from a single distillery).
