Four Gate Andalusia Is Back!

After a long drought, Four Gate Andalusia is back. What is the Andalusia finish? It's a blend of whiskey finished in Spanish Oloroso Sherry and Dark Rum Casks. This blend is one of my favorites from Four Gate. It's the peanut butter and jelly of whiskey finishes. I'm not sure why it tastes so great but it never disappoints. With the original Andalusia Key Four Gate only used bourbon. We now have Batch 025 which is the Andalusia Key rye whiskey. Batch 026 is Andalusia Key finish with Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The fruit and pepper notes from the rye really accentuate the dried fruit and toasted sugar in the finishing barrels.
