One of my favorite distilleries is back! Driftless Glen barrels are a great example of how far craft whiskey has come. This barrel is 5-years and 6-months old. It's high proof. It hits all of the traditional rye whiskey notes with spice and fruit. But, it throws some incredible twists like marshmallow and roasted coffee. I would put this against any rye from MGP or Kentucky. If you're looking to try something new in 2023 this is the place to start.
