Tasting Notes: A high proof birthday cake! The nose is sweet with a touch of spice. Vanilla frosting and an orange glazed cinnamon roll. White pepper and dried mango bounce back and forth on the first sip. It has a bit of orange creamsicle, vanilla extract, toasted almonds and leather. It's hard to call something crushable at 140+ proof but this drinks so well. The finish lingers with roasted candied pecans and a adobe sauce. A delicious way to close out a special whiskey!

That's exactly what happened with this barrel-proof, ultra-aged American Light Whiskey. This American Light whiskey aged for 21 years in used bourbon barrels from J.E. Seagram's and Four Roses. This antique oak and age allowed for complexity and depth to develop. As we began to taste through each barrel, notes of dried fruit and cigar box are what we fell in love with. This bottle remains uncut and unfinished to highlight the elegance of aged whiskey. Enjoy!
