The Seelbach barrel continues to receive incredible feedback. But, the Bourbonr barrel is no slouch! If you liked, or would like to try this barrel, now is the time. There are only about 40 bottles left. When it's gone it's gone.
If you follow bourbon trends I'm sure you've seen New Riff Distilling popping up all over the place. They're producing some great whiskey right now. I was able to get two single barrels for the group!
Barrel 14-866: Bright orange zest, vanilla, and oak leading into burning. There are brown sugar and loads of baking spice. It's viscous with a finish of oak and dark fruits.
New Riff Distilling’s core Bourbon expression is a genuinely high-rye, full-bodied whiskey offering savory, spicy character, bottled at Barrel Proof without Chill Filtration. Featuring a mash bill of non-GMO grains at 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, it represents a new riff on Kentucky’s most hallowed whiskey traditions. Aged four years in 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in our production. All New Riff whiskeys are made with the full sour mash Kentucky Regimen; all carry an age statement and are always bottled without chill filtration.
