We have another Seelbach's private barrel ready to go! This is The Presidential Dram from Proof and Wood. This is apart of their DC Collection. Since the Electoral College votes today this seemed like a perfect time to release this barrel. It is by no means a political affiliation. Mash Bill: 75/21/4 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley
Distiller: MGP Ingredients Distillery
Proof: 117.6 proof
Tasting Room: Brown sugar and warm rounded spice. Notes of oak and dried citrus come through. The palate is cinnamon, root beer, and dried cherry. It's complex and bounces between caramel and toasted vanilla. The finish has a great transition from sweet to dry notes. It starts with the vanilla custard from the palate. Then there's black pepper before finally moving to a dry note.
