O.K.I. (Ohio. Kentucky. Indiana) was originally started by New Riff Distilling. The sourced bourbon quickly became a cult favorite amongst bourbon enthusiast. After New Riff's own distillate was ready they retired the brand. That was until business partners Chad Brizendine and Jake Warm resurrected the brand in Fall 2020. O.K.I. started by releasing single barrel bourbon to much fanfare, and followed soon after with single barrel ryes and the wildly popular O.K.I. Reserve Batch 01. Batch 01 was one of the best selling products at Seelbach's in 2022, so we're excited today to release their Batch 02 of O.K.I. Reserve. We think this may be just as popular as last year, so for now we are adding a limit of 2 bottles per person.
O.K.I. Reserve Batch 02 is a blend of 3 unique whiskeys from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana coming in at 100 proof. 5 barrels of 95% Dark Rye, 5% Malted Rye (Middle West Spirits). 10 barrels of 68% Corn, 20% Rye, 12% Malted Barley (Bardstown Bourbon Co.). 10 barrels of 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley (MGP).
- Nose - Oak, Caramel, Light Citrus Zest, Toffee, Brown Sugar, Vanilla
- Taste - Rich and Full, Butterscotch, Caramel, Oak, Sweet Dark Sugar, Burnt Marshmallow, Vanilla
- Finish - Medium to Long, Mild, Dark Sugars, Cream Frosting, Hits of Stewed Cherry lingers
