We've been loving all the new entries in affordable bourbons on the site this year! Duck Club Bourbon was created with a straightforward purpose: make a bourbon that reflects the people who spend their time outdoors. Built around the heritage of waterfowl hunting and the culture that surrounds it, this whiskey is rooted in authenticity, tradition, and genuine value. Bringing the spirits background is co-founder McCauley Williams, a name you may recognize from Blue Note or Alma de Jaguar. Country artist and lifelong outdoorsman Riley Green joined the brand as a co-founder as well, bringing a genuine connection to the lifestyle Duck Club represents: hunters, anglers, wanderers, and anyone who feels at home in the wild.

With two distinct expressions now available, Duck Club proves that thoughtful blending can deliver both easygoing everyday pours and richer, bolder sips, all with a point of view that honors land, tradition, and time well spent.

Duck Club Bourbon – 92 Proof

This four-grain blend of 5–6 year straight bourbons from Kentucky and Indiana is crafted for everyday quality and approachability.

Light orchard fruits (think apple and pear) come easy and inviting out of the gate. Caramel, vanilla cream, and baked fruit pies, followed by honey, a touch of leather, and soft oak. There’s a light citrus kiss that keeps it airy and playful.

Sweet up front with caramel corn and maple sugar, then moving into toasted oak and gentle baking spice. Cinnamon stick and nutmeg show up mid-palate, with a touch of apple skin and brown sugar rounding it out with a mouthfeel that is silky and approachable.

Soft vanilla and warm rolls with honey butter are pleasant but quick on the palate light oak tannin, and a soft cinnamon warmth join, and fade without any rough edges.

Duck Club Bourbon High Brass – 110 Proof

A higher-proof blend of 5–8 year Kentucky straight bourbons, built for drinkers who prefer a richer, bolder experience, this expression carries more weight while still grounded in Duck Club’s outdoors-first ethos.

Rich and expressive. Dark caramel, molasses, and toasted grain hit first, followed by charred oak, orange peel, and a touch of leather. There’s a deeper cherry sweetness here that hints at what’s coming.

Rich and layered from the first sip. Molasses and toasted pecan build into brown butter toffee and crème brûlée. Black pepper spice and dark fruit reduction give complexity. Hints of dark chocolate and dried fig emerge with air. Velvet mouthfeel that fills the palate with flavor.

Long and warm, carrying oak spice, caramelized sugar, and a lingering nutty sweetness with plenty of cherry and torched orange peel . The spice hangs around just long enough to keep things interesting.
