Details:
Harvest season occurs twice a year at Privateer, starting in the Spring and once again in the Fall. Before harvest, the production team will taste every cask and take notes on their development. Favorite barrels of the crew receive stars to be tasted again later in the season with top picks often reserved as potential Distiller’s Drawer selections. P274 was a star among stars with a rich, deep character and complex flavor.
Tasting Notes:
A pronounced nose and a full body. Notes of dried fruit, fig, prune, apricot, and more. Loaded with notes of baking spices- nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom. Lots of depth and complexity with a strong, lasting finish.
