Nashville Barrel Co. Single Barrel Rye - Selected by r/bourbon
Selected Specifically for r/boubon
Company: Nashville Barrel Company
Distillery: Sourced (From undisclosed distillery in Indiana)
Proof: 108.46 proof
Mashbill: 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley
Bottle Count: 190 bottles
Tasting Notes: Brown sugar, toffee, brown butter, old funky tobacco and a little bit of pepper. Reminded me of an old Christmas Rye I had years back in this musty, dessert, tobacco profile kinda way. Lower proof at 109pf which I think is also contributing. Super rich mouthfeel. If I can find more barrels with this profile, I'm going to buy them all up.
