About: I've been thrilled to work with Driftless Glen for a number of years making selections for r/Bourbon and beyond - they were the source of our 2nd and 3rd barrels, after all! Driftless has been rolling out old and older whiskey every year, and their quality just continues to get better and better. I love holding inventory up at the distillery, because I can check on it often, and ensure it's coming along in aging.
Today, comes something new. In partnership with Driftless Glen, I worked with the distillery team to select finishing casks outside of their current barrel inventory. I meticulously selected an assortment of wine and other finishing barrels to be brought to the distillery. This would be used to finish a hand-picked run of bourbon.
The Exclusive Cask Series is comprised of this collection of releases, available to no other groups or societies. Built from the ground up for r/bourbon, hand selected by t8ke.
