Tasting Notes: The nose starts off with a bouquet of fruit. Stone fruit, dried fruit, & stewed berries. The palate is viscous, oily, and sweet with a little bit of oak. Ryan was picking up dark raisin syrup and some brown sugar which then opens up into sassafras, and root beer notes with some bitters. The finish had a hint of a Boulevardier, and then echoed the brown sugar and root beer notes. They described it as a cocktail poured straight from the bottle.
