Tasting Notes: White pepper, earthy notes, turbinado sugar. It's a shortbread cookie with crushed peanuts on top. The palate rich fortified wine sweetness. There's black pepper but it's like a fresh toffee. Finish is long with dark chocolate and oak.

We believe modern American whiskeys fall within too narrow a flavor profile. There is so much opportunity for more -- and that search for more is what led us North. We began our journey in pursuit of mature rye aged in a cold climate, seeking out spice, fruit, and earth without over-oaked bitterness. Instead of finding ready-to-bottle single barrels, we discovered a vast array of casks, teeming with potential. This presented us with the rare opportunity to create distinct and differentiated whiskies while establishing our identity as blenders.
We spent a year matching and integrating flavors, shaping our first two batches. Both received top honors, Double Gold, at The 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. And so we continue our exploration, pursuing new flavors that can only be Found North.
