Tasting Notes: Bold and beautiful symphony of oak, cherry cola, rich caramel, satisfying spice and tannin. Rich on the palate, it strikes bold and spicy before giving way to sweeter fruits, honey, grape, blackberry, cherry and currant. Viscous, chewy texture on the palate. Not too oaky, it's dry but doesn't pull all the moisture from your palate. Long finish that ends silky, sweet and gentle on the tannins. I enjoy how nicely this transitions from powerful oak, to well integrated fruits, to a long, supple finish without that overoaked, bitter note many very old brandies have.
